How do I choose a design course after Class 12?
Start with the discipline you enjoy, then compare undergraduate curricula, studio projects, entry requirements and total costs. Check each institution’s current admission notice for entrance tests, portfolio requirements and deadlines.
What is the difference between UI and UX design courses?
UI focuses on interface layout, typography, visual systems and interactive states. UX covers user research, information architecture, interaction flows and usability testing. A combined course should teach both through projects and feedback.
What should an AI-assisted UX design course teach?
Look for research fundamentals, interaction design, accessible interfaces and usability testing alongside AI tools. Check how the course handles consent, sensitive research data, bias and verification of AI-generated outputs. Tool demonstrations alone are not a substitute for design practice.
How much do design courses cost?
There is no single fee for a design course. Compare tuition for your entry year and applicant category, plus software, materials, equipment, accommodation and travel. Fees in our initial programme directory are not verified; use the linked official institution pages for current figures.
Is an online design certificate the same as a degree?
A completion certificate does not automatically equal a recognised degree. Check the awarding body, assessment, feedback, credential recognition and any credit-transfer claim before paying.
Does DesignCourse rank colleges or guarantee jobs?
No. DesignCourse is an independent exploration and comparison resource with an initial selection of programmes in India and the UK. Coverage is partial. We do not promise admission, placement or salary outcomes.
